Yong Hee Photonics developed the Yttrium doped BaF2 crystal, the scintillation performance is obviously improved, it can greatly inhibit the slow luminescence component of the crystal and has excellent fast/slow scintillation ratio. This crystal can be coupled with a PMT to produce a scintillation detector, it is suitable for high time radiation fields such as high energy physics, medical and ultra-high speed imaging.
