CaF2(Eu)
Introduction:
CaF2:Eu is a scintillation material that used for detecting hundreds keV low energy gamma rays and charged particles. Because of its low effective atomic number, limit it in applicationof high energy
gamma-ray spectrometer, but makes it an ideal material for the detection of beta rays. Its refractive index is at 1.47, which is very close to most PMT windows'andoptical coupling modules'refractive
index, so it can obtain high light collection efficiency.
Key Features: Applications:
Mechanical resistance and stability Low energy nuclear physics
Non-hygroscopicity Radioactivity medical science diagnoses
