Plastic scintillator&detector
Introduction:
Plastic scintillator is widely used to detect X-rays, gamma rays, fast neutrons and charged particles, it has advantages of high transparency, light transmission, short decay time, stable performance,
high mechanical strength, resistance to vibration and impact resistance.
PS101 series plastic scintillator is a blue light type plastic scintillator, mainly used for measuring gamma rays, X rays, muons, etc. It is thermally polymerized by adding POPOP, p-terphenyl and other luminescent materials into styrene monomer. Compared with other scintillator materials, it is inexpensive and can be manufactured in very large volumes. Our products can be made into different geometric shapes, such as: Plates, sheets, blocks, rods, columns, rings, etc. It can also be customized according to the size of the user, and different reflective materials are provided and encapsulation.
We can also provide plastic scintillator components, such as combining plastic scintillator with light guide, photomultiplier tube, silicon photodiode Bonding (coupling) of pole tubes, etc., and adding corresponding metal or non-metal casings as required. If an electronics unit is required, we can provide it together, and you can communicate with us for specific customization matters.
